Concept to Reality
From the early seeds of inspiration to the development of mood boards and visual inspiration through in-depth historical research, this brand development project showcases the translation of rich, meaningful ideas into an entire merchandise assortment, retail store floor plan, window display elevation, and event branding conceptualization.
Inspired by the "Trailblazers: Celebrating Japanese Prints" exhibit in Highfield Halls in Cape Cod, MA, this project celebrates the evolution of the traditional Japanese art form into a fusion of modern self-expression within Japanese culture. Drawing from iconic historical symbols such as the Geisha or Samurai warrior, this collection aims to captivate the essence of those figures through each element of its design.
